Below the sculptor’s signature, ANDREU: VASAL DES PUETS ME FES, a picturesque hunting scene is dominated by the image of a falconer on horseback.
A deer is attacked by a falcon and chased by a dog whose collar has a ring for attaching a leash. Other animals, a rabbit and a wading bird, seem to be outside of the action, suggesting perhaps that it takes place in the Camargue.

2. and a man armed with a crossbow are walking to the left.
A figure blowing a horn, next to a heraldic eagle (like on a shield).
A very simplified tree suggests the vegetation.
A strange palmette or lily flower, on which a bird is perched, shows that the scene is outside.
A curious object with wide triangular elements in the form of the cross with cylinders, one of which is held onto by a figure. It may be a cross, on which nails symbolizing the crucifixion can be found on each bar, and a symbol of the royal religion.
