Vertical Drain Pipe

One spectacular feature that is still visible today, and often enigmatic for most visitors, is a pile of large blocks that correspond to where there was a vertical drain pipe originally built into a wall made of rubble stone.
This sewage pipe corresponds to the pipes that drained the rainwater toward the drainage system on the ground level.
