Measurements are made after heavy rain, at several intervals: 12h, 48h, and 96h. The data recorded for the pillars revealed a rather homogeneous distribution of humidity. The hypothesis of capillary rise could thus be ruled out. The highest humidity was recorded after 96h, the time it takes rainwater to percolate into the stonework.
