Child

Categories of Spectators

Children participated in most of the moments of the lives of adults. For instance, they were admitted to show places (theaters, circuses, amphitheaters…). Their status as children was indicated by their bulla (a protective amulet worn around their neck) and toga praetexta (a white toga with a purple stripe on its edge).
